Job Description


The TMX Finance ® Family of Companies is looking for a Vendor Management Coordinator to join the corporate office in Carrollton, TX. In this role, you would be part of a team that effectively manages the requests from suppliers and vendors and maintains consistency with the process that keeps costs within budget.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Develop and execute processes to manage incoming vendor requests coming from Department Heads as well as collaborating with business stakeholders and ensuring appropriate compliance.


Collaborate during the negotiation, execution of compliance activities, and securing of agreements for products and services while partnering with various departments.


Analyze vendor performance using standard tools and processes, develop reporting on performance metrics and review/analyze reports to monitor the efficiency of the program.


Review and obtain approval on vendor Service Level Agreements and escalate when needed for further review. In addition, ongoing review of invoices that have been submitted for payment against contracts and service level agreements prior to submitting to Department Heads for approval.


Organize and retain documentation such as guidelines, tracking, and contracts.


Monitor spend and metrics continuously in order to generate reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.


Collaborate with FP&A during budgeting to ensure contracts and service level agreement spend is represented accurately.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and lead efforts on a variety of projects in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong organizational and planning skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with a variety of levels within the organization as well as handle vendor relationships externally
  • Strong listening, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel (e.g. pivot tables), and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in vendor management
