TMX Finance is seeking a Treasury Specialist to join the Treasury and Accounting Departments at our corporate office in Savannah, Georgia. The Treasury Specialist will be responsible for handling all banking duties and merchant processing duties for the company, while also providing support to the accounting department as well as departmental managers regarding treasury policies and procedures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as support for online banking systems for the company.
  • Assist in maintaining Treasury forms, policies, and procedures and answering audit requests from Internal and External Audit teams.
  • Interact with all departments residing within the Finance Department, including Cash Audit, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Tax, and other departments interacting directly with the Treasury Operations departments.
  • Safekeeping and maintenance of Treasury documentation including signature cards.
  • Initiating electronic transfers, tracking payment deadlines, assisting with daily cash and expected cash receipts and expenditures in collaboration with the Treasurer.
  • Assists in managing all aspects of the corporate debit card payments operations process, including chargeback dispute and reconciliation.

Job Requirements

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred (accounting, finance, business administration, economics, etc).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Cash Accounting, Finance, Treasury and/or Bank experience preferred  (Great opportunity for someone that has experience as a Bank Teller/Fraud)
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with upper management
  • Team player and responsible individual with strong initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access required
